MINI USA debuted five new special editions at the L.A. Auto Show, highlighting the brand’s focus on individualization and customization:
- MINI John Cooper Works Knights Edition
- MINI Countryman Yin Yang Edition
- MINI Clubman Starlight Edition
- MINI Cooper S E Countryman PHEV Special Edition
- MINI John Cooper Works International Orange Edition
All five of these models will be available at dealerships across the US by 2019, including our MINI dealership in Chicago, IL, as well as the option to customize your MINI using an online configurator.
“Individualization and customization are core elements of the MINI brand,” said Thomas Felbermair, Vice President, MINI Region Americas. “This not only includes a range of options and accessories available for our cars, but also a unique range of limited production special editions that have long-been part of the MINI DNA since the first generation Mini was produced in 1959.”
The Knights Edition is a hardtop available in Midnight Black with melting silver top, mirror caps, and a bonnet stripe. It also includes a unique melting silver and red side stripe design, along with piano black exterior trim and door handles.
Based on the MINI Cooper S Countryman, the Yin Yang Edition comes in Midnight Black with a Light White roof or Light White with a Midnight Black roof. Either color option includes a Piano Black grille trim, headlight and taillight rings, door handles, and a custom stripe design.
The Starlight Edition MINI cars features a Starlight Blue Metallic body with a Melting Silver roof, mirrors, and custom bonnet stripes on a MINI Cooper S Clubman model. It also has silver 17-inch net spoke wheels.
As for the International Orange Edition, based on the MINI John Cooper Works Hardtop, it features an exclusive orange and black paint job with an array of custom stripping and trim options. It also comes with an upgraded performance wheel and tire package.
